Job Summary: This post will support teaching, research & scholarly activities in management sciences department & among different departments of the Institute and between the institute and corporate sector.
Job Duties: · Contribute to the design of the curriculum (undergraduate and postgraduate level) at a level which reflects professional expertise.· Undertake teaching and examination responsibilities at undergraduate and at postgraduate level.· Support and monitor the progress of students using the personal tutor system.· Support students in their placements in practical settings.· Provide support and guidance to students in practical areas.· Supervise students completing research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate level.· Participate in staff development activities designed to enhance research and teaching skills in the institute.
Research & Scholarly activities: · Ensure teaching and practical practices are based upon the best available knowledge.· Collaborate with colleagues in the implementation of models of dissemination of research findings.· Contribute to the dissemination of teaching and practical initiatives through the preparation of scholarly papers for publication in professional journals.
